EASA Class 3

An EASA Class 3 examination is suitable for flight medical personnel. We provide both initial and repeat examinations. It is important for flight medical personnel to undergo a medical examination so that they can work safely.

EASA Examinations

    • Medical history in combination with physical examination
    • Biometrics (height, weight, waist circumference and blood pressure)
    • Urine test
    • Comprehensive blood test
    • ECG (cardiac test in rest)
    • Extensive eye test
    • History;
    • Visual acuity: distant – intermediate – near; with and without optical correction;
    • Refraction measurement;
    • Eye movement and binocular vision;
    • Fields of vision;
    • Color test;
    • Examination of the external eye, anatomy, media and fundoscopy.
    • Lung function test
    • Comprehensive ENT (ear, nose and throat) examination
    • Audiogram
    • Tympanometry

The Aviation Medical Center has several locations throughout the Netherlands. At all these locations you can go for a medical or psychological examination. One exception is the Rijswijk location. Only medical examinations are held there.
