SPL: EASA Class 2

EASA Class 2 rating is suitable for anyone who is permitted to act as a sailplane pilot. We provide both initial and repeat examinations.

ALL EASA CLASS 2 EXAMINATION

EASA Examinations

  • Initial examination regardless of age

    • Medical history in combination with physical examination
    • Biometrics (height, weight, waist circumference and blood pressure)
    • Urine test
    • Blood test (HB) on indication
    • Standard eye test
    • Lung function test on indication
    • Extensive ENT (ear, nose and throat) examination on indication
    • Cholesterol analysis (on indication)

  • Repeat examination, up to the age of 40

    • Medical history in combination with physical examination
    • Biometrics (height, weight, waist circumference and blood pressure)
    • Urine test

At various locations in the Netherlands

The Aviation Medical Center has several locations throughout the Netherlands. At all these locations you can go for a medical or psychological examination. One exception is the Rijswijk location. Only medical examinations are held there.
